New to EE so still figuring it out. I see EE Wi-Fi automatically connects at London Underground using sim auth which is great, but I can’t seem to be able to get any traffic to the Internet with my default config.
I suspect it’s because I use DNS over HTTPs on my device but wanted to check if anyone knows if EE is blocking DoH providers or using some custom DNS setup that requires their servers to be in use (possibly to filter some content and prevent abuse on their hotspots or collect analytics?).
If I switch my device to automatic DNS the EE Wi-Fi service starts working. I’m still to test if Apple’s private relay has anything to do with it, that’s another variable.
