EE Blocked Siteground Websites

I have 298 websites hosted on SiteGround. Any client using EE Mobile cannot access their website. SiteGround support said because the SiteGround support team is in Bulgaria, they cannot identify the issue with EE because they do not have access to EE mobile phone. This is ridiculous, I will take legal action for damaging my business.

I cant visit a range of my websites either on my phone or using my SIM router. They were fine yesterday.

Hi @Andrew-Matlock, welcome back to the Community!

Is it just certain websites that are affected here, or are you unable to get online full stop at the moment?

If it's the former, which websites have you noticed this happening with?
Peter

It was numerous websites hosted by Siteground - removing parental controls twice sorted that - even though none of the sites have adult content.

Currently https://veteranaware.nhs.uk/ gives the "ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE" and no DNS changes or cache clears sort it.

IT works fine on my EE phone and other network just not through my unlocked Huawei B628-265 router

Thanks @Andrew-Matlock, I'm glad to hear that the parental controls change managed to get this sorted out.

I've had a test of the Veteran Aware page on both my EE mobile data and BT Broadband, and this seems to be working without any issues for me.

Not that I imagine this page is being blocked by the content lock, but are your parental controls disabled on the router too?

Peter

No settings have been changed on the router - we previously used a Smarty SIM.
The website in question has never been an issue.

The other sites we couldn't see had a different message prior to changing the Parental settings.

Thanks @Andrew-Matlock, is the SIM you're using here on EE, and is it pay monthly or pay as you go?

It's worth giving this a try in a different device if you can, just so we can determine if it's linked with the SIM or the router itself.

Peter

Hi, I have the same problem. I couldn't visit my site hosted by Siteground starting last night. The error shows DNS_PROBE_POSSIBLE and on Safari it shows that server is down. I have made sure there's no parental control. I use EE5G smart router.

Hi Peter!

I am having the same issue - my websites and email are hosted with Siteground and I can't access the website nor is my email syncing anymore?

My parental controls say 18+ regardless?

Thanks,

Victoria

My siteground email wouldn't sync either.
I had to change parental settings a couple of times to adult.

I spoke with the very helpful siteground support and they could find no issues at their end.

We also couldn't use our Hisense smart TV.
We eventually got around visiting the online TV via an Amazon firestick.
Netflix wouldn;'t work at all after the switch to an EE SIM - neither through the smart TV or firestick.
