Delay calling out

My Iphone 13 (Mini) is intermittently taking ages to ring out. It just says 'calling' for up to 30 seconds before anything happens, if at all, even on wi-fi. Any ideas what to try?

@WHEELCHIMP  Try a network reset on the device.   You’ll find this in Settings>General>Transfer & Reset iPhone>Reset> and then select Reset Network Settings.   You will have to put back your Wi-Fi password on the device as this resets all network connections not just cellular.
