Cannot use roaming package from USA

I'm trying to use roaming data from the USA but so far I'm unable to connect. As instructed in the SMS messages, I've texted TRAVEL to 150, and received the response saying I have the Travel Data Pass. I'm using an iPhone SE from 2020, and Ive got roaming data turned on, and have set the "Select Network" option to automatic, but I still can't use data or make and receive calls. I'd be very grateful for any help!

Are you on pay-monthly or PAYG?
It sounds like you don't have roaming enabled on your account, which will prevent your phone connecting to a local network in foreign countries.
PAYG is auto-enabled for roaming once the phone is used in the UK first. Pay-monthly phones need to have the following 2 options enabled in your myEE online account or app.. "International roaming" & "Call abroad & Premium rate"
If, for whatever reason, you're not able to activate these, you'll need to contact EE C/S to do so. Either +44 7953 966250 from any working phone, or +44 800 0798586 from a web calling app such as Skype.
