Can't send text message - Error 0

I've been using Messages and sending and receiving texts fine, until today. Now when I try to send one I get the error message: Can't send message with EE - error 0.
I can't change the SMSC as that option is greyed out on my phone.
Is there another way I can change the SMSC, please?

I am still having the exact same issue, it was fine on the s20 plus I had but since upgrading to the s22 ultra I cannot send any messages to any premium rate numbers and there seems to be no way to enable premium rate messages anymore.

Do you have two messaging apps, one with google and one with Samsung?

My issue 😀 had to go through to 150 - and second level support at ee but now working..
suggestions - apply latest software update.
Delete/disable google messages - must use the samsung one with 3 dot
Delete any previous messages you have sent to the premium number before
In Apps/Permissions make sure messages allowed is on
Turn off chat settings in messages.
Create a contact for the premium number as a custom number
One of these combinations plus a 20 minutes phone call with EE fixed it.

I'm experiencing this issue on the s22 ultra. I cannot send messages to certain contacts. I've tried all of the fixes mentioned in this thread but unfortunately none have worked.
