Can't contact EE from Spain to set up Roaming

I have arrived in Spain and my roaming voice call doesn't work. I cant call EE CS, can't text because no mobile connection. I have data but EE have no email or whatsapp. My billing limit was raised to cover roaming charges.
I just want to make a phone call!
Help please?

Did you activate roaming before leaving the UK by texting ROAMING to 150?

When you say you have data, this implies you have a mobile network connection. Or do you mean, you have a WiFi hotspot?
You're correct to realise that lack of roaming facility causes a catch-22 situation when you are abroad.

Hi Bristolian, No, mobile data is working, strangely. Just no voice calls. Anyway the message servive seems to be working. They say my overspend limit has run out (but my data is still working?!) So they'll fix it. I hope all will become clear when I get my bill. Thanks to both of you for your help. It should be ok now. It shouldn't be this hard, though!

Your Spend Cap will not affect your data as you are not paying extra for that.
Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.
