Calling uk mobiles from italy

Why can I. It call uk mobile numbers from Italy. 
there are a lot of posts about this but I cannot see the actual solution. 
isn’t brexit brilliant.

Welcome to the EE community

Are you saying that you can't make any calls whilst abroad? Or that you can only call certain numbers?

Within your myEE online account/app, under "Parental & data controls", you need to have both "international roaming" & "call abroad & premium rate" options enabled.

Many users have problems making calls abroad if the "call abroad" facility is not enabled.

Assuming you have roaming set up correctly and are connected to an Italian network, can you check your phone numbers are formatted correctly? 

You may have numbers saved in your phone book in the UK format, e.g. 020 xxxx yyyy or 07788 xxyyxx rather than +44 20 xxxx yyyy or +44 7788 xxyyxx

The fix could be that simple if your roaming is switched on.

Both options are active and it’s only mobile numbers I cannot dial, even on the same network??

I have tried all combinations without a positive result. I do get some Italian answering though.

Maybe try manually roaming into a different network?
