Call on invoice I didn't make, now getting calls from random numbers in the USA

I have a call on my invoice which I did not make (0019296928604).
Now I am getting loads of calls from different USA numbers all saying originating in New York.

Should I change my phone number?

@Jodes2   You could and you’ll need to call customer support to request a change of number.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I just called Customer Support and because it is on my June invoice they can't do anything at all about it.

I explained I didn't make the call and this is fraud and potential cloning and absolutely no help at all. Need to call back on 2nd June! So in the meantime someone could make £1000's worth of calls on my phone?

Shall see what happens in my June invoice I guess... Thanks Chris B for replying.

Only if they have access to your phone.

Your original post  "Now I am getting loads of calls from different USA numbers all saying originating in New York." reads as you're now receiving incoming calls? Those won't be charged if you're in the UK.

Make sure you've got a spend cap.
