Hi, recently when my company call me, (which is a private number) the phone rings once then goes to answering machine.
I've not updated or changed anything on my phone and the calls are from different departments, so different private numbers.
I've done checked all the usual suspects, reset blocked numbers etc etc, but still having the issues?
Any help would be much appreciated.

As far as CLI is concerned, there's no "different private numbers" - the CLI is withheld. The blocked number function relies on CLI and is thus immaterial in this scenario.
The most common reason for withheld numbers not ringing on your phone, is a "Do not disturb" or "silence unknown callers" option being set.
Confirmation of there not being any issues whenever caller-ID is present, would be useful.

The OP is saying the calls come from diff private nos. in fact, not that they arrive as from diff nos. which as you point out the CLI can't distinguish. Altho' I fancy they come from the same private no. but diff extensions, seeing as they come from same firm with diff depts.

Indeed so. My point, which I may not have made clear previously, was that - as far as the phone is concerned - a private number is a private number.

Your new post on the same subject has been combined into this thread.
Is the EE SIM set as the active one for voice calls? Although both should be live for incoming, it's something to eliminate. As is, swapping the two SIMs between the physical slots - assuming they are both physical.
The other thing is to clarify the "ring once" bit - are you saying the incoming call rings on the phone for a short time before diverting off to voicemail? Or that the caller hears one ringtone but the phone doesn't ring? It's a subtlety that could potentially matter - a call that diverts straight to VM (as per a blocked call) should not generate a ringtone to the caller.

Yes, both Sims are active and the EE Sim (work) is the set for calls, with my second Sim being my personal one.
The call rings for a split second and then goes to the answering machine or is a missed call.
I've checked all the blocked features within the phone setting and reset everything, but it still happens?
As mentioned, it started about 3 months ago (happened for a few days) then everything was fine, but now is been constant for the past 2 weeks!!

Hi @KENDO5,
Have you tested calling from another phone with the number withheld to see if you see the same behaviour?
James
