Hi Leanne,
Thank you for confirming this. And can I ask what sound the blocked caller will hear when trying to call from now?
I too am suffering from someone contacting me, relentlessly, and I’d also like to keep my voicemail on, is there an option now please?
many thanks
Claire xx

Good afternoon @xClarrabellex.
Thanks for reaching out to us about this.
When you send VM OFF to 150, you should receive a confirmation text advising that the voicemail diverts have been disabled.
From there, anyone that calls should receive a message that you're unavailable rather than the voicemail option.
Is it an iPhone that you're using right now?
If if is, you may also need to go into your Settings and select Apps > Phone > Live Voicemail, and make sure this is off.

Has anything changed on this, as it doesn’t seem to have?

You can, you block them.
you can also text VM OFF to 150, shame to have to resort to that, but if they’re persistent, it’s maybe worth it.

Only way I’ve managed to stop is texting VM OFF to 150, and I know it stops ‘all’ voicemails, but for me, it’s worth the peace

Calls from blocked numbers are diverted to voicemail as a matter of course & by design.

It has now come to my attention that texting VM OFF to 150 DOES NOT STOP SOMEONE FROM CONTACTING YOU, (BLOCKED OR NOT), because today, I have received a call from a ‘No Caller ID’, and low and behold, they have been able to leave a message. And the blocked person is very happy about this, he confirms!
Can someone from EE explain what is happening here? I’ve requested voicemail if OFF, so why am I getting voicemails?
