Hi @Kaikong

Thanks for coming here.

Does the WiFi connection disconnect when the WiFi device goes off?

Which device are you using?

Thanks.

Leanne.

What device(s) are you using?

WiFi is just a connection between your mobile device and a router.

Unless you're connecting a phone to a mobile router, then I'd suspect you just need to use mobile data while travelling on a motorway.

I’m using 4GEE WiFi Mini

I just don’t want to use my mobile data when I’m on the journey and that’s why I use the mobile wifi

Hi @Kaikong,

Your mobile WiFi router will automatically switch off when not in use to conserve battery life.

Do you see the same issue if it is plugged in to a power source?

James

It doesn’t has this issue if it is plugged into a power source. But the signal is very weak on motorway and can’t be connected well. That’s why I’m thinking to find some ways to boost up the WiFi signal receiving

Hi @Kaikong,

Sorry, it isn't possible to boost the strength of the mobile signal your router is receiving in a particular area.
