I’ve purchased the Abroad add on , confirmed on my account, 2 days ago. I am still unable to make calls to Ireland. ‘Calls to this number are barred on my phone’. Something is preventing it from being activated. Any ideas?

@Pil34 Did you text ROAMING to 150 to have roaming enabled on the account before you left the UK ? Purchasing add ons doesn’t enable roaming it’s just an add on to keep costs down. in the EE app under help you have the option to live chat with customer services to request roaming being enabled on your account

Sounds very much like although you purchased the add on, international calls are barred.
I don't see an option within the app to turn this on so give customer services a call and they should be able to do this for you.

150 is all automated. The Chatbot can't deal with it. I have not yet found the route to humans, except via this site 😃

@Pil34 you call 150 and press option 2 and you should be able to speak to someone like the billing accounts.

Welcome to the Community!
On 150, you should be able to follow the automated options towards our billing team.
If you're struggling with our visual service, you can press 2 to bypass this and go to the normal menu.
There are a few options worth trying first though - if you try sending ROAM to 150, this will take you through all of our roaming options, and if you select Roam Worldwide this includes calling abroad from the UK.
It's also worth checking to make sure you don't have a Spend Cap active, too.
