Hello Chris828
I'm an EE pay as you go customer and I'm having the same issue as you have described where 5g doesn't work anywhere (indoors/outdoors).
I wondered if your problem was ever resolved and if your wife's phone now works as it should?
I've started a complaint with EE but wonder if there's any point seeing it through.
Thanks
Steve

Hi @SW77
Welcome to the community.
I know you've mentioned opening a complaint, but have you spoken with our technical support team? They'll be able to check everything from our side, to make sure everything is set up as it should be.

Hello
Thanks for your message. I will try to speak with technical support but because of my issue with my phone cycling from no service to 5G every 5 seconds, I'm not sure I can make a call.
I went into the EE shop recently for help. They could've helped with the technical support call there and then as they knew I can't make or receive calls.
I'm interested to know what the success rate has been resolving mobile network issues such as this?
Are you a robot? 🙂
Thanks

@SW77 Does 4G work ok ? Is 5G enabled on the device ? What device is it ? Does the phone show it’s connected to the network? Have you tried the sim in a different device and a different sim in this device ? You can’t assume the networks at fault until you can prove it’s not the device or SIM card.
