150 help number that you can't use as too busy

I'm brand new to EE and already wish I wasn't as the help number is of no use as too busy.  I had to call my son for help as the number at the EE shop, where I bought the phone, doesn't work  Chatline nigh on useless as well, as 3 people came on and they put me to the wrong place as I am not a business.  Have to go to the store 5 miles away for assistance which is not convenient.  EE need to think of their customers who need help and put more people on and extend their lines.  My previous phone was with the Team Know How via the Vodaphone store and I could get through straight away and they always sorted my problems.  Why can't EE be like this company.
