Has anyone else been getting calls from this number ? I’ve checked online and most people regard it as a nuisance call whilst a few say it’s genuine, the caller claims to be from EE and states that she wants to help me get the most from account in terms of prizes etc.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Yes it's EE, probably going to offer you a Deal, are you on PAYG, if so and want to upgrade give them a call back.

@Preraph probably want you to change to a contract if you’re on PAYG. I would love to know what prizes they are offering as I’ve never seen any mention of prizes just for contract customers. I’ll take that but with a pinch on salt.

@Chris_B UL, UL, 10Gb for a Tenner or UL, UL, 150Gb for 16 Quid, to name a few, if you move from PAYG to SIM Only Contract.
Chris.

@Chris_B no I agree with you, you rarely see these kind of deals on offer to existing Contract Customers though or those coming towards the end of Contract.
If the UK Networks paid more time and effort looking after their own existing Contract Customers it wouldn't have to spend so much time with incentives to try and steal them back once they've left and All the Networks would have a much lower Churn Rate.

I received a call from this number at 13:36 today. For supposed security reasons they asked how much my last top up was made and how I made payment, which is what EE asked when I last spoke to them a week or so ago. I told them but realised it might not be EE and made my excuses and left the call. I then found this web-link explaining it may be a scam.
