I've been having the same issue of periods where the strength of the signal drops to the point of being unable to either hear or speak on calls or access the internet. I notice EE are saying try clearing your cache, try renewing your phone etc, but not addressing the real issue of failing to provide a consistent signal strength. Yes I have checked the online service checker. Guess what, no problems according to EE. I have tried all of the above. The clincher for me was trying another providers SIM card in my phone and having no issues with the device or their signal strength. Also tried the EE SIM in my brother's phone and it wouldn't work. It's the signal strength. Pure and simple. It's not consistent. Come on EE get it sorted or I'm off......

Hi @D-grade
Thanks for coming to the community.
I am sorry you are experiencing signal problems and no issues were found when reporting this on the service checker.
Is this happening in more than one area? What device are you using?
Speak soon.
Leanne.

Neither of those symptoms are directly caused by poor radio coverage. Hence moving your post to a new thread.
Two separate issues here... 1: In-call audio - can you be clearer on what's happening? Are you describing... poor audio quality, as if you're listening to an older MW/LW radio station, compared with FM? Or... are you describing good audio but the incoming/outgoing speech dropping out momentarily?
In either case... can you use mobile data whilst on calls? That's a good test of using VoLTE/4G-calling rather than 2G.
2: Data speeds - Are the poor speeds consistent with particular times of day or locations?
