no service in Wantage

I have 'no service' on my iPhone 5 and no means of phoning EE. Wantage, Oxfordshire area. No local EE shop. What can I do?

Assuming you have restarted your phone, you can check for local network outages via the "check status" option on https://coverage.ee.co.uk/network/ee 

Then choose either "keep me posted" or "report a problem" depending on the results.
