Hi @Zoe7274.

Are you able to try your SIM in another phone to see if the signal works?

Jon

Sim worked in a iphone but still no joy on my Samsung

I've cleaned sim , I've cleared cache still no joy, I've done reset still no joy everything works except calls and texts so annoyingly frustrating

Thanks @Zoe7274.

Was that a factory reset that you did?

If so, it may be a fault with the phone and you'd be best speaking with the seller.

Hi zoe unfortunately the s9 is an old phone now & like everything the older it gets the more that goes wrong with it.  Samsung stopped doing software & security Updates back in April this year so that could be part the reason why it's so slow & lagging also where samsung are no longer doing security Updates your phones a security risk I.e your samsung could be hacked so any personal stuff you've got on your phone I.e banking etc I would remove ASAP.  Samsung only do Updates for 3/4 years after that it's time for a new phone unfortunately any  android phone are not as good as the iphones

@Bionic69   That has nothing todo with a SIM card not working in a device.      I’ve got a Nokia 3510i and it still works and it’s older than any phone that anyone is using on this forum.   The age of a device has nothing todo with a SIM card not working in it.

Well if the sim works in a iphone but doesn't work in the s9 what does that tell you erm there's a problem with the device
