Sim not registered on network

Hi, I've been having issues today. Calls are being dropped and sometimes a msg pops up on phone saying sim not registered on network.

I've checked the coverage in the area and it is excellent. I've restarted phone and it seemed to work at first, but then stopped. 

I was going to call ee but obviously network is hit and miss

Anyone else having issues?

Are you on EE PAYG or pay monthly contract.

Have you checked the network status over coverage.

After a call drops and you get this onscreen message, try a manual network search - does EE show? Can you manually select it?

Thanks for the responses.  It actually seems to have been okay after a couple of restarts, so hopefully that's it sorted.
