Set mobile service up after EE network fault repaired

For nearly a month there have been problems with the network and it was  'being fixed."
It was fixed on 20 Aug 24 according to an EE text message.
As instructed I restarted my phone and lo and behold there was no network.
It's an iPhone 12 and in settings it stated "set mobile service up."
So then it goes into setting up eSim which I do not have.
Unfortunately I do not have another phone so cant call 150 for help.
Any ideas very welcomed please.
Thanks

Are you using a physical SIM or electronic one?

If a physical SIM, does it work in another phone?

@S5oxy   Is there an EE SIM card in your device ?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Yes EE Sim in place.
I have also tried doing an iPhone update to iOS 17.6.1  and the 'verifying update'  wheel has been turning for about 90 minutes, so there is something up, but not sure if its the phone or EE?

Its a physical SIM.
Have tried it in an old iPhone and it works.
Looks like its the iPhone 12 that has the problem.
Be glad of any suggestions to rectify the problem.
Thanks

Hi @S5oxy

If the SIM is working in another phone, it does point towards it being the phone.

If you get in touch with our tech guides, they can run through some diagnostics with you to see if they can get the phone working, and discuss the options if they can't.

You can see how to reach the team on our Get in Touch page.
