The service check website is down and when I tried to call ee for technical support it told me it was closed. My data has been down for two days now and I can’t get onto the internet. It’s shocking because we are paying for data we can’t even use, and being in a more rural area it’s a lifeline for connection.

Data usage doesn’t affect calls/texts so can you call or text in this location?

I'm sorry you've been experiencing issues with your data connection.
Are you able to access the Service status checker today to check for local outages?
Could you also try manually selecting the network? Go to your phone settings, choose Mobile Network, turn off Automatic, and then reselect EE. This can refresh your connection to the local mast.
If you're still having trouble, I'd recommend getting in touch with our technical team, who will be able to take a closer look and help get this sorted for you.
