EE have definitely gone down the pan for a fair few months now as I always seem to have very low signal near me  yet there's a 5g mast down the bottom of my street. I have noticed the signal loss since they turned off the 3g or 4g signal not sure which one. I have a Samsung note ultra 20 phone and I know it's not my phone. Either way I will be changing from EE as they used to be good but since there's not as many networks around as there used to be they have definitely gone slack my own personal feeling. I've been with EE for a few years now.

4G is the base coverage layer and 5G phones currently still use 4G for all voice calls. There's not really any such thing as a "5G mast", all EE sites are multi-technology and carry 4G as a bare minimum, with 2G and/or 5G added depending on individual config.

3G has been switched off nationally.

Do you have any service issues using your phone, or is this just an issue of perception?
