Problem with MikroTik router - intermittent 4G, connecting as 3G and 3G HSDPS

As of 09/12/2023, my MicroTik router is experiencing connection problems to 4G. It's been fine for well over a year previously.

This might have been happening a little longer than this, but I only really started looking into it in depth today.

4G connection only occasionally and even then only a few IP packets get through with huge ping timeouts then of 10-30seconds.

Doing a LTE scan I occasionally get this: (Evolved 3G LTE)

But mostly now just these:

My phone is working just fine on 4G and the signal is strong.

I've seen other posts from users having the same issue. EE have you rolled out a software update around the network recently that might be causing this?

Now resolved by updating both the routerOS to 7.12.1 and then also the modem firmware to MikroTik_CP_2.160.000_v021. This has to be done over LTE, which, given the lack of a stable LTE connection means using another providers SIM in the router to get the firmware update installed.

My phone is working just fine.  Has anyone solved this yet?
Thanks

Stuck on this now rather than LTE:

Same SIM works fine in my phone.

What does it say under registration status?
I'm getting denied on 4G but on 3G it works but. Try hit and miss.
