Phone call issue

Hi,

Over the last few weeks when I’m making phone calls, the person on the receiving end can’t hear me properly, I keep cutting in and out. I’ve noticed that my phone signal only has 1 bar, I’ve never experienced this issue before on EE. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Thanks

Hi @KGill1

Are you connected to WiFi calling? The bar could be WiFi signal over network if connected to the network try restarting your device.

Thanks

There's nothing inherently wrong with "only" one bar, it's still a bar and it's a rough guide to service.

WiFi & mobile should have independent on-screen measurements, but the preference between them can vary depending on Apple/Android, and in some cases, user-selection.

Brief momentary audio drop-outs could be handovers, whilst dalek-type outgoing audio can be a symptom of poor radio conditions. Reporting the issue via the status tool referenced above, is as good a start as anything.
