Not receiving text messages

Hi, since about 4 days, I have stopped receiving text messages. I cleared cache memory, restarted my phone, but still the problem persist. What else can I do?

  • What device do you have?
  • Are you on PAYG or pay monthly contract?
  • Are you in the UK?
  • Have you tried sending a text to yourself?

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

Thanks for the reply. 

I have Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M2). It is a pay monthly contract. Yes, I am in UK. Yes, since mine is a dual sim phone, I have tried sending messages through either of the numbers, it works. But, I am not getting any third party messages. I am also not getting messages from my GP since 4-5 days.

Can you clarify what you mean by "I am not getting any third party messages"?

 

I would take this to mean automated "OTP" type texts aren't arriving but those from other phones are.. but can you confirm?

No, incoming messages, just calls.

Are you able to try the SIM card in another phone to see if the same happens? 

 

Can you text BALANCE to 150, do you receive a reply?
