No signal

I got a new iPhone and sim today as I’m new to ee and everything is running smoothly except the fact it just keeps showing up that I’ve no signal, I’ve tried turning it on and off. Is there anything else I can do?

@Jodie19x  The Sim card needs to activate this can take up to 24 hours.  Just to check you have put the sim in the device the correct way round ?  It should be face down on the sim tray before you put it in the device,
