I am unable to send messages or make any calls. I can get on to wifi and browse the internet but it does allow me to send messages or calls on whatsapp. I have switched on and off several times. Turned airplane mode on and off. Can anyone else help? Thanks

FYI you have a short time after posting to edit your reply. Does your phone show network coverage?
Use the "check service status" option on https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker in the first instance, to check for local service outages. The "report a problem" link should be used if no issues are reported but EE users continue to have issues.A loss of coverage will remove the ability to make/receive calls, send/receive texts or use mobile data.
If you're in the UK and have a WiFi connection, you can use WiFi-calling to keep using your phone as normal without needing network coverage.

@Jenny1231 , WhatsApp is an internet based app, so when no cellular, you can use it, not the same as making calls and texting which uses cellular, but as @bristolian , has already written, by having wifi, you can use wifi calling to make calls and text.
