No internet access

Hi. My 4gee mini is connected to my smart JVC TV but when I try and access Netflicks on the tv it says "no internet connection". The tv is fine as I have used my phone hot sport to access Netflicks. Help?

Can you use your 4G Mini hotspot with any other device?

 

When using your 4G Mini with your JVC TV, do any other apps work OK?

Hi. The hot sport I mentioned was created on my phone just to test the TV could access the Internet and I could watch Netflix etc.

The 4G does does not work with my TV. The TV can pick up the 4G signal but cannot access the Internet through it.

Hence my problem.

Can you try connecting your phone to the WiFi device and try and access the internet to see if this works? 

 

Have you been able to connect to the TV previously using the WiFi device?

Yes my phone can connect fine to the 4Gee mini and I can access the Internet.

 

No, I have not been able to make the 4Gee work with the TV.

 

Could it be a problem with the IP or DNS configuration??

Go into your 4Gee Mini Admin settings.

 

Within APN Or Profiles change the IPV to IPV4 Only, also change Authentication to PAP, and Delete the User and Password to nothing, ie leave them Blank. 

 

Save the above Settings and Reboot the Router and at the same time Restart the Smart TV and anything else connected to the WiFi and Test.
