I ordered a new iPhone (14) today under new 3year business contract. I forgot to ask ….would it operate under 5G ?

If you have a 5G-compatible phone, a 5G-enabled plan and are in a 5G-coverage area, you will access 5G service.
If any of these criteria aren't met, you will continue with 4G service.
