Mobile phone mast making a loud rattling noise

There is a mobile base station or mast near our house and it has started making a loud rattling noise at irregular intervals, often at night or early in the morning. Who do I contact about this? It is keeping my teenager awake during their A level weeks.
Many thanks

There will be a H&S/legal notice on the perimeter fence of the site, giving a specific site-reference and contact number for scenarios such as this.

Possibly could be an issue with the equipment cooling.

There is a site reference and a number - I called them and they have been out to see it and said it’s EE equipment making the noise, so I need to contact EE, but there’s no number on there for them.

That sounds like a multi-operator site and you've identified another MNO.

Try 0800 526151, they'll need the site reference.

Thanks for that number, but it seems to be for Ericsson, rather than EE and they didn't seem to know what I was talking about!

That's correct, Ericsson manage the RAN day-to-day.

I'm not sure what a RAN is, but they seemed very confused and then they hung up on me, so I don't think I got very far with them. Vodafone seemed very sure that it was EE's equipment and therefore problem - I'm thinking surely there must be someone at EE I can talk to about this!

RAN is shorthand for radio access network. It's the collective term for the radio sites that your phone uses to access EE's network.

The number I posted, is the number provided on all EE's radio sites for situations such as this. Employing the standard CS approach of speaking to someone else, may have worked here.
