Are these speeds consistently slow, or do they vary? And can you quantify what is "slow"?

I do. Since roughly the same time as you. I've done a lot of troubleshooting, spoke to EE phone support who told me to 'clean the SIM'... and even managed to get through to Android developers.
The advice I was given by the Android developers after running certain commands and showing them their output:
"According to the curl output it tries to connect via IPv6, even though both Twitter and Duckduckgo don't even have an IPv6 (AAAA) DNS record.
My guess would be that your ISP doesn't provide you an IPv4 address, so it uses DS-Lite when trying to connect to an IPv4-only website."
Has something changed in EE routers DS-Lite configuration around 23 May?
Me and my wife basically can't use internet when on mobile data for three weeks now. I am about to switch carriers, that's how frustrating this is.

I'm not aware of any changes. Have you spoken to our technical support team again since they asked you to clean you SIM?

Hi @Christopher_G ,
Thank you for your suggestion. I will try calling them again. Their proposed solution originally was to send replacement SIMs for us. I might take them up on that offer but it does not really instill confidence. The way I found out about the problem was trying to pay for parking while on a trip to Wales. While this was a minor inconvenience on this trip it could potentially leave me stranded in the future!

With problems like this, it's always a bit of trial and error to try and figure out what's causing the problem, @corduroy.
Fingers crossed that if they replace the SIMs, it fixes the problem. Let us know what happens.

Did you get an answer to slow speeds. Mine is appalling yet the app check say I shud have excellent network!!

Have had to use vodaphone 4G to remote access work or stream Sky or iPlayer
