@TMV1 It’s possible your device is changing from WiFi calling to cellular call at that time it goes quiet. It’s very possible that it could also drop the line when this happens as the device didn’t actually make that connection so just lost signal.

Is this audio problem something that's only started recently?
It may be worth monitoring your phone's signal indicators when this happens, to see whether WiFi-calling or 4G-calling is active when this happens, or whether it is being caused by a handover between the two.
If calls are dropping unexpectedly, the same test will be useful.

It doesn't state when I’m on call whether it is on wifi calling or 4G. It’s an ongoing thing not been able to get hold of ee today to speak to anyone hence why I’m on this chat thing they advised me to put on ee calling last time it makes no difference really.

Android phones do have an onscreen indicator between 4G-calling (VoLTE) and WiFi-calling, I believe Apple is similar but I don't use it.
Any troubleshooting could be assisted by an estimate on when this problem started.

Hi @TMV1
If you have an iphone this is normal. I can be using wifi calling and then the call goes dead as it might catch a network signal, that's it the call is gone. Iphone wifi to network transfer is rubbish and its at the point now i use teams calls (this is my works iPhone) over WiFi calling.
On Android this isnt a problem as you can select the priority wifi over network. No issues.

I’ve switched that off this week to see what happens and still get the same issues everyone saying my network is rubbish lol

Hi @TMV1
Does this happen in more than one area?
Are you able to try the SIM card in another phone to see if the same happens?

Hello,
This is predominantly at home. I can try another phone but not sure if it will do the same.
