Is there a 4G successor to the discontinued 3G booster box?

As many now know, EE are discontinuing the service of their excellent 3G Booster box, and after 7 fabulous years of 5 bar coverage use, I got 3 weeks notice of this. My phone does NOT have WiFi calling option, so I'm a bit snookered. I don't want to buy a new phone, current one is working perfectly, besides, think of all the poor dolphins in throwing perfectly good stuff in the bin unnecessarily!

Is anyone aware if there is a 4G 'booster box' available that will work for me, preferably supplied by EE? (or a generic one as an alternative)

Well, I now have WiFi calling. Just cost me a fortune (for me) to get it. I feel so sorry for those older folk, and those who have no tech interest at all who'll wake up next week and wonder why their mobile phone doesn't work anymore. I hope EE will have additional staff on standby to cope with the queries...

Never realised that. Was bought from CEX so my comms with them highlighted that if it didn't 'do', I could get a full refund. As a matter if interest, it was graded, 'B' condition, on receipt, there isn't one single blemish on it, screen or case, like new, and I'm fussy!

@stephen5000 : You might still have to pay return postage & restocking costs unless it is actually faulty. A lotta online sellers are now starting to doing that even under 14-day statutory Distance Selling return legislation.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

It's about time too! Woman in front of me in the post office this morning was returning 5 huge x parcels to Next, M&S & New Look! I hate people shopping like that, they profess to be 'green' but cause more damage to the environment than her SUV parked outside. CEX never bothered me about 'return' if the phone worked I'd keep it, if not, I have a weekly journey past one of their stores...
