Did you mean:

“I’m sorry. Calls are not currently being connected to this number”

Got a weird one here.

about 50% of the time when I call my wife I get this message.

No one else who calls her gets it and I don’t get it when calling anyone else.

no account or billing issues.

There was apparently  a problem with local mast but it happens even when we are both in a totally different place together, well out of the range of that mast.

what could it be? Both running iPhones, the only difference is I have an eSim

Hi @Fat-Veg

Thanks for coming to the community.

Does your Wife's phone show full signal when this happens?

Are you both connected to WiFi or using the EE network when you get this message?

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.

Hi there

it happens regardless of whether WiFi calling is on or not unfortunately.

cell signal is low (2 or 3 bars) yet other calls come through fine.

Does caller ID (or lack of) make any difference?

How about if you disable 4G & WiFi-calling to force your calls to go over 2G/3G? I wouldn't recommend it as a permanent change, but it's a perfectly valid diagnostic check.

Weirdly that worked.... but not a permanent fix, what does this mean? Is it a handset issue?

Which suggestion worked? Not sending CLI, or disabling 4G?

And if you disabled 4G & WiFi, was this on the calling phone or the recipient phone?
