So I just got home after being away for about a month and a half. I get home and tried to log onto the EE wifi hotspot to call family, and it just doesn’t exist. I’ve checked my PlayStation, laptop and phone. It just doesn’t exist anymore. I live in the Brandon area.

@Maxinout  You have internet access as you’ve posted on here,  but what’s the reason for using the EE hotspot ?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@Maxinout : These public EE WiFi hotspots come & go. They are based on other users' own routers.

I’m currently using my phones data, none of my devices have wifi

Hi there, I’ve previously never had issues with the hotspots in my area until now. I’ve checked the hotspots locations and there aren’t any in my area. Never had this problem until now. Is there any reason as to why there wouldn’t be any hotspots currently in my area?

I’m sorry, I don’t quite understand. Could you clarify?

EE WiFi is mainly based on other EE & BT BB users letting the public in their vicinity share the WiFi capacity of their home routers. These users may remove this permission or switch their routers off or even move, at any time
