Had a call this morning with customer service as the mobile data in my area has been poor for the last 4 days and as I am waiting for broadband to be installed I wanted to find out if there was a more to what is going on than what the online service checker says.
Got through to a lady and explained my circumstances, and she asked me to wait for some info to load up on her end.
Waited about 15-20 minutes with her thanking me for my patience multiple times for then the phone to be hung up. If they can’t help at all just say, seems a bit ridiculous to waste everyone’s time like that and I’m no further with my issue.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @W22502
Sorry to hear of your experience when calling through to customer service team.
It doesn't sounds like what we would usually expect when calling us, our technical guides are usually able to check any local issues that may be going on straight away and give you any relevant helpful information, so I can appreciate you'll feel disappointed by it.
I'd recommend giving the technical team another call, where I'm confident a guide will be able to have a look and update you.

I very much doubt the line disconnecting was due to intentional action on the agent's part.
Out of interest, what specific info were you seeking?
