5G not working

My phone is 5G compatible and I have a 5G contract but I cannot get 5G to work on my phone, any suggestions please?

In order to use 5G services - you need a 5G-compatible phone, on a 5G-plan, and to be in a 5G coverage area.

Have you checked the coverage in your area using https://coverage.ee.co.uk/coverage/ee ?

Do you have a 5G plan and 5G ready phone? 

Does the EE Coverage & Network Status Checker | Check your signal show 5G is available in the area?

Worked very occasionally in the beginning

I also have this problem with iPhone 14 pro max. 5G is useless.
