Hi,
I have had my 4G (in a 4G/5G) router tower mobile BB in use since October. I was able to use it up until recently to connect to my workplace's intranet using MS DIrect Access. A couple of weeks ago this stopped. I have not been able to get back on since. Googling suggests it could be an IPV6 issue but not sure. I do not seem to be able to easily log this error with EE. I have a 2 year contract and really need this to work. Any thoughts?

Hi @mattwildsmith,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
I'm not aware of any changes that would affect your ability to use Microsoft DirectAccess.
Are your IT Team able to see any issues in their logs?

I have exactly the same issue and the only fix I have seen is to stop using EE!

Hi @tonigmr2
Thanks for coming here.
Have you been in touch with your IT team?
Do you get an error message when you try and connect?
Leanne.

So have you tried disabling IPV6?
Change the APN Profile to IPV4 Only, Save the Profile to Default, Reboot the Router and and the same time Reboot Every Device that is normally Connected to the Router.

Yes my IT team have told me they have had issues across our organisation specifically with EE. Since we are around 6K people that has been significant.
Basically Direct Access does not connect. I had to disable IPV6 and reboot to get it to work, otherwise I would have had to change provider. Apparently after latest upgrade only EE affected and all other providers fine with IPV6.

Thanks for coming back to me @tonigmr2
Do you have do reboot each time or is this working for you?
Is the router part of a company contract?
Leanne 🙂

Once I removed IPV6 it worked on a single reboot. Prior to that we'd tried everything including renewing all of the security certificates and removing the content blocker.
No the router is my private line and it's out of contract so I very nearly changed.

Hi all,
thanks for the advice. We have tried turning off IVP6 and other configurations. We have tried a different laptop. It is a personal router/contract, but I am using my work equipment through it. I have tried an O2 data contract phone and I can log straight into work's network with no issues. I think EE need to fix the route through IVP6
Thanks
Matt
