WiFi Hotspot Data

Hi, first time post on here, been with EE since 2008 or earlier.

Using phone now as mobile hotspot in a new area where home broadband is an issue.

In KA10 7GZ Troon, the data has gone down again. No warning or error text.

Is this an issue that others have noticed?

Have you lost coverage entirely? Or do voice calls & texts still work, and this is specifically a data issue.

Use the "check service status" option on https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker in the first instance. Then, "keep me updated" or "report a problem" depending on the outcome.

You can use the "My places" facility to opt-in to proactive status updates on upto 5 postcodes of your choice.

It was data for wifi hotspot issue only, for our tablet internet.

I tried again just now, and the data is working via mobile hotspot. Weird, how it just came back, unnanounced?

No text from EE, a promise to update me tomorrow, as it was close to 8pm closure.

I think help should be 24/7 for loss of service.

Whilst talking to the advisor, I was told you cannot use your phone, and mobile hotspot together. I have done so many times, talking and looking up data on my tablet via the hotspot.

I think sometimes the advisors are incorrect?
