Hi i would like to know why EE is putting u under 25mbps speed cap? I’m new to EE and never saw someone limit your speed this way. Looked to other plans and even if u pay 30£ a month u still getting that speed cap. Internet is ultra slow(ok in all uk it’s not perfect) and it’s even hard to use. Not to mention that u supposed to use 4g with 5g phone 😄 thanks for answers

That really isn't an answer, OP was asking why their speed should be capped, just because they are on PAYG, and i agree with them, a 25mbps cap in 2024 really is pathetic

No, @jayb5665? It's a condition of buying a PAYG plan.

I have second line which is 10mbps capped for £10 a month, youtube etc all works well even in 1080 without buffering
On first line I have no cap so it is 450 to 550mbps on 5G
Other operator whose name starts with Th is giving 900mbps on same location but I’m happy with anything more than 100mbps if I tether.
