What happens to data if you don't use it?

I bought 50gb worth of data on a pay as you go sim, I have only used 6gb of it, but it says I have 50gb until 09/05/25, will I lose 44gb after that?

Possibly, all packs & add-ons have a limited duration of either 7 or 30 days. However if it is in the form of a £20 pack & you top-up & buy the pack again within 7 days of its expiry, whatever data left over will rollover into the next pack.
