I have a data travel pass add on. Will this work in South Africa and is it only valid 500mb/day or does it allow you to use your contract allowance?

Yes, it'll work in S.A, giving you 500MB / day for £6.85.

Be careful with them data travel pass add ons  as they can be very expensive and if you have not done the homework on how these passes work and what you get you could come home to a very large bill. So I would suggest doing some homework on them passes before you add them or use them on you’re account
