The FREE DATA OFFER For the King's Coronation the free data from EE on Saturday and Sunday.

Seems not to have started as yet, UK Saturday 01:20 am onwards.

Checked my Data / Balance and taken the screenshot : for reference , by which time just before midnight UK GMT.

Clicked on the text message link which give some details but after reading the online content this was into 6th Saturday after 00.05am.

Shocked to notice it had used some Data, this I kind of predict is using my own account balance Data. For the this Forum Post / Registering .

Hello to all, Many Thanks for reading my Late Night / Early Morning community forum post.

 

Please do Celebrate the King's Coronation and Maybe somebody can confirm if this data from EE on Saturday and Sunday is still going ahead?

I'm not getting the free data or its not telling me I have data, it's says I've used all my data and what's me to buy any ideas

 

Hi, I've just downloaded a film, and my data counter hasn't changed, so
maybe its ok. I did speak to 150, and they advised that its working in the
background.

I am in the exact same at. Got a text message saying I would get free data over the coronation weekend. I used my phone today only to find I've been charged for it. I'm now massively over my target usage for the month. I hope EE are going to reimburse me for this.

It's saying I should have free data due to the coronation but Its not working on my phone

Is your data not working completely, or is the data deducting from your balance?

Are you on a personal pay as you go or pay monthly contract plan?

@Tanyas13   How are you charged for data usage ?  No credit on an account can be used directly against data usage.    And if this still isn’t corrected call customer service about it or nothing will be resolved. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I haven’t got it either . It’s used my own data 

Sunday 7th May 11.30 am 

I called through and they added it on, not good when it should be
automatic, they are probably hoping not many people notice
