I’ve started to suffer problems when using social media apps on both data and Wi-Fi, specifically Facebook, What’s App and Twitter. It came on last week, initially only affecting apps and only on data. However, it’s now happening on Wi-Fi and their respected websites too. All is ok on iPad. I have an iPhone 13 with iOS 16.3. The only other website affected is Apple forums. I’ve turned data off and back on in the apps’ settings and I’ve also reset network settings twice. This worked the first time for about 12 hours but is unsuccessful now. Will I need to do a factory reset?

@GB65 : It could be Switching Content Lock OFF or ON . It is switched on on new & upgraded contracts & seems to affect social sites. If just switching it OFF doesn't help, try switching it to STRICT, reboot your device and then switching it to OFF. That is seeming to do the trick.
Of course this will not explain it on WiFi which doesn't use mobile data but its own.

Sorry all, I should have added that I can’t use the apps. They won’t update and I can’t post.

Thanks mate, sorted it. And I’ve worked out that it was probably caused by an ee agent last week. I tried to call an airline which was an 0872 number which is a low premium rate but it was barred. I called and asked five different people to lift the bar, four unsuccessful. The fifth guy said he had to change some settings but said he managed it. It’s only been happening since then and also my calling abroad add-on was switched off on the same day. I think I need to call them again but your advice worked. Cheers.
