I see this - There are 8 data add-ons available that last between one and
30 days. But no detail on how to buy one. And if I find that can it be
taken on the credit I already have in my account?

If you are getting this info from the ADD DATA text it will be giving you the respective codes to text to 150 to buy them. It will be taken out of your PAYG credit,

I see "view your mobile add ons" - select that  - Buy Plans and Add Ons - this just gives an info page - https://ee.co.uk/plans-subscriptions/mobile/packs  -  which is frankly USELESS

So just to confirm - if I  text 150 with ADD DATA - I receive a reply giving my options and a relevant for the one I opt for?

Hi @carrotmuseum2,

Welcome to the EE Community

Yes the reply will to the text should give you the list of options available to you and then just follow the instructions to reply with the add-on you want to buy and it will deduct it from your existing credit.
