Personal hotspot

My phone mysteriously "crashed" yesterday and now I have no personal hotspot -- and it's telling me I have to contact EE to get permission to add a hotspot to my account. What?! I had one until yesterday! I have unlimited data on my account. How do I fix this?

Hi @Megan1200

Have you tried restarting your device?

How much data have you used? You only get 600Gb per month on unlimited, if you have used more then you might need to speak to EE.

Thanks

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone. You can call Freephone +44 800 079 8586 on Skype

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 10.30pm every day.

Hi @Northerner :

I've restarted the device (3x now) and have only used 1.2 GB in the past month, so that shouldn't be the issue. I've just reset my network settings, and that didn't do anything either.

Hi @Megan1200,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

Which phone are you using?

James

Hi @James_B: I'm on a iPhone 13. It an unlocked phone -- purchased directly from Apple, not through an EE contract. It CAME with a hotspot !
