No access to data package on mobile broadband

I want to contact EE direct. My phone is broken. I have bought 6GB data £15 to use on my tablet via my mobile broadband. When I try to access it it says "connected no Internet". What use is that!! What can I do? It was my only means of communication and that has failed. EE are supposed to be a communications company! not

Did you purchase a pack for the SIM inside your tablet or was the pack for your mobile broadband?

Are you able to connect other devices?
