My phone tells me different to My EE

My cycle renews on the 9th, EE is telling me I have used all my data for the month, (it's now the 11th) but my phone it telling me I have used 1.4gb of 4gb? I was also asked if I wanted to double my data, which I did to 8gb but that seems to have gone, was it a limited offer?
