I bought a EE sim yesterday and converted from LycaMobile but since I've put in the new sim, I haven't been getting internet on it. The sim works perfectly fine in my sister's phone but isn't working in mine. I changed my sim back to LycaMobile and I'm getting internet just fine. To note, my phone is recognizing the sim, as well as, getting amazing signals for calls and sms. It's just the internet that is not working. I have tried to restart my phone several times, turn on and off airplane mode, use the APN settings as suggested by some posts here in the community and nothing is working. If anyone has any solutions, it will be a great help.

You can download your internet settings from EE Setup.
Does that resolve the issue?

No, it didn't help. I have tried the EE Setup multiple times to no result. I have also tried manually creating APNs as well as to restrict to either IPv4 or IPv6 and also to have both be available for APN protocol and APN roaming protocol but it didn't help either. As I put back in my LycaMobile sim, the internet works perfectly fine so there's an issue with EE configuration I guess. I find the problem to be similar to Samsung S8 posts in this community although I've tried all the methods listed there so no solution has yet come for this problem.

I called on 150 and the team ran through some troubleshooting and came to the conclusion that the sim was working fine but there is an issue with my device connecting to the internet. I still haven't figured out how to connect to internet as I never encountered this problem before. If anyone knows anything about it, it'll be really helpful to guide me what to do.

i’m currently with Lycamobile, and i’ve been dealing with this problem for a few months now. every customer service representative I’ve spoken to so far says the same thing about the APN, but that doesn’t work for me. i’ve had an iPhone 14 Pro since last year. i recently called customer service and directly asked them to reset my SIM card, but they refused, saying the SIM card should work fine. i have a lot of issues with the EE or Edge and LTE on the 5G network, especially when i travel to other countries. i end up with no service, meaning no internet. yes, it was expensive—i pay €40 a month for 30 days, which used to be €30 for unlimited data.
lasly , back in January 2024, i went to France with my boyfriend for three days and had no internet. i’m fed up. i’ve been with Lycamobile for over five years, and i’m just going to switch to Vodafone in the Netherlands.
