I have credit on my account so why cannot I use any data?

Are you in the UK? Do you have an active data package?

@SJM13  Credit on your account doesn’t go towards data usage. You can only use credit on your account towards calls and texts to have data you need to buy a data add-on.  You can use your credit for this.
